This is Clancy, one of the vet's resident dogs :) He is very old, and wanted to sit on my lap! One of the vet nurses told him he could sit in one of the other chairs - and he DID!! He just took himself right across the room and popped up there with no further encouragement! LOL!

Here is Husband with the poor little injured one:

Here is Molly with her super-attractive muzzle, Husband and Dr Phillip:
(LOL - He's Dr Phil for dogs!)

Sadly, my blog is being particularly dumb this evening, as it will only allow me to upload 3 photos...I really wanted to put up one of all of us in the car (on our way to the vet's) in which Molly looked directly at me for the photo!!! Caught her!! :) I will try to add it tomorrow instead...
Poor Molly :(
ReplyDeleteI hope her toe nails grow back quickly!

I feel so sorry for Molly. Impossible not to wince every time I think about it! How is she going with the muzzle? :(
ReplyDeletexoxo
Yay for an outing but sad about the reason!
ReplyDeleteI hope Molly is feeling a whole heap better and running around with no limp really soon!!
:) xo
PS. Oh, and COOL about the other dog. Smart thing :)
I love that this is a family outing - I think you guys should go on one that doesn't involve a vet visit for poor Molly so she learns that family outings can be non painful too! :) It's weird for me seeing Micky as 'Dad' to Molly having never really had pets before! :)
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Abby - we went on one just yesterday :)
ReplyDeleteWe went down to the creek to cool off (SO darned hot!) and once we'd waded in a little bit she came swimming over to us :)
This was quite unusual as she doesnt really like swimming (although we've never forced her to go in with us) and when she does she NEVER comes near us - just in case we get it in our heads to drown her or something! :)
Anyway, she came swimming over to us to the 'combined vocals' (courtesy of Husband and myself) of the theme song to JAWS! LOL!!!
She may even have another vet visit in the morning - her toe nails have mostly healed (one completely, the other not so much) but she was bitten by something today between the middle toes on her front right paw and that area has swollen up so much that her toes are no longer touching *ouch* so yet another family outing may be in order...
Husband is a great 'Dad'! :) Our family is so lovely, and it makes me so happy when he comes home from a long week apart and as he opens the door he says: "Hello my family!" as Molly entangles herself around his legs like a cat whilst sneezing repeatedly (she sneezes because her nose is all scrunched up cos she's been grinning at him)*happy sigh*
