This morning while we were trying to cross the "Bog Hole" on foot, Rachie and Nesh startled a brand-new baby calf out of its hiding place. Mum was no-where to be seen...but Baby soon settled back down into the grass and was REALLY hard to see by the time myself and Michael (with the wheelbarrow) came past.
So after talking to Dad, and with Husband, once we get back to "The Bog" tonight (around 7ish) we are going to have a serious search for the little one...and provided that Mum hasnt come back...and that no dingos found him through the day....I am allowed to raise him at our place! :)
(Husband had better hurry up with finishing that chook pen!)
