I Am What I Am...

I am human,

I've never pretended to be perfect.

I am what I am.

Do not judge me, ridicule me

or criticise me.

I am what I am.

Do not set standards that

you feel are right.

I am what I am.

Do not become an expert

on MY life.

I am what I am.

Do not think you'll change me

I am what I am

And yes although I am different.

Please love me for "WHO I AM"

This was a poem read at a funeral we attended last week of a dear old friend, Mr Lennox. I think it sums things up pretty nicely.
